Homeless youth require opportunities, security, protection, life skills and understanding. They need support strategies that are distinct. YWS’s approach is to meet each individual young person where they are at and empower them in moving forward in their life.
“I appreciate everything you’ve done for me while I stayed here, but it’s time for me to move on and try being on my own. I don’t think it’s going to be hard because you’ve prepared me for my journey.”
— Youth note on the Legacy Wall in Life Skills Program
One volunteer at a time, your company can be part of T4C Day, that is changing young lives every day. As an employee team, volunteer to Adopt-A-Station(T4C canvassing location) or be T4C Station Captains. Or host a fundraising activity in your workplace in support of T4C Day! We can get you started with a range of supportive resources including: an educational info session in your workplace and a complete volunteer information package. What does a T4C commitment look like?
